Coily Hair needs moisture.

Coily Hair

Coily hair is rich in texture and full of beauty, but it requires extra care to stay healthy. Its tight curls are naturally more fragile and prone to dryness, tangling, and breakage. The LCO method (Liquid/Leave-In Conditioner, Oil, and Cream) is the best method for keeping coily hair strong, moisturized, and full of definition.

Hair Quiz
4A: Soft Coils with Definition
Springy coils with a visible pattern. More porous and prone to dryness. Benefits from rich creams and natural oils that lock in moisture.
4B: Zig-zag Coils
Coils bend in sharp angles rather than spiral. Highly prone to breakage without protective styling. Loves creamy leave-ins, scalp oils, and low-manipulation routines.
4C: Ultra-Tight with Fierce Texture
The tightest, most shrinkage-prone coil pattern. Minimal definition, maximum versatility. Requires thick oils and butters to retain moisture and strengthen strands.
