Straight Hair needs volume and balance.

Straight Hair

Straight hair may look effortless, but it comes with its own unique needs. Naturally smooth strands can be prone to oil buildup, lack of volume, and breakage at the ends. The right care routine helps maintain balance—keeping straight hair strong, shiny, and full of movement.

Hair Quiz
1A: Ultra-Fine & Silky
Pin-straight with zero wave or bend. Naturally soft, but lacks volume. Needs volumizing shampoos and lightweight conditioners.
1B: Subtle Body
Still straight but with a touch of movement. May get oily at the roots but feel dry at the ends. Benefits from balancing formulas and dry texture sprays.
1C: Strong & Resistant
Straight but thick and coarse in texture. Can achieve many styles but also frizzes in humidity. Thrives with lightweight hydration and frizz-fighting serums.

Caring for Type 1 Hair

1. Straight hair natural oils travel easily from the root to the tip. This tend to make the hair greasy. We recommend shampooing your hair every other day with the BOND SHAMPOO. Rinse with cool water.

2. Once a week, treat your hair with the BOND MASK to provide the hair with fortifying nourishment.

3. If you have highlights/progressive hair color, use the BOND BOOSTER before the BOND MASK. This not only helps maintain smoothness but also nourishes and restores moisture balance, revitalizing your hair.

4. Apply the LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER. It helps fight frizz and prevent split ends, two of the biggest straight-hair challenges.

5. Air dry or diffuse.
